MG TD TF 1500 - Update on Vredestein tires in 165 size.

Looking for any current info regarding availability of above tires. I specifically would like to find whitewalls, as I used those back in "the day". (Sorry any purist on site. lol)

You will probably have to go to the specialty manufacturers, as elephant-walls are no longer available from large manufacturers. Check with someone like Coker Tires.

Are these the type of whitewalls that you want? Club member John Camichos' TD. I believe that he bought them from Coker in 2015 or 2016. Not sure if they are bias ply or bias-look radials. They are identical to the tires that were on the car when John bought it in 1956 … can't get anymore period correct than that!

I can ask him about the type of tire and size of white wall if you want.
