MG TD TF 1500 - Way OT, but had to share

I know that there are some of you out there that have the ability to build just about anything you want. I am not quite blessed with that full gift, although I do ok.

Well, last week I visited a friend of the families that is into his 70's. His hobby is to build massive dragster motorcycles.

They have no true purpose other than showing he can do it and burning up the rear tire. They don't actually drag with them.

This is his latest creation that he is just about finished with. A 10,000 HP (that is correct) Alcohol/Methanol dragster dodge Hemi Motor in a Motorcycle.

From the back.

As you can see. Not the first, but this one is the most powerful he has ever built.

Bruce Cunha

I don't see how it could even be ridden. I'd also be surprised if that chain and rear swing arm didn't come apart at far less than 10K HP!
Steve Simmons

Whoever rides that has gonads as big as the tires.

I don’t see the point, but to each his own. Regards, Tom

OK, maybe (and maybe not). There are Hemi engines that develop 10,000 HP, but I doubt this is one of them. Do you really think that chain drive, sprocket and spindly rear axle is capable of handling 10,000 HP? The engines appear to be old, empty cases without working internals. The parts are not even completely bolted together.
WHT

It is a fully built Dragster Hemi. The bike is not completely finished yet.

Clutch? How about a huge lovejoy coupling that is either out or engauged.

Here is his previous bike.

These are only used for show at drag races. He will run the bike on alcohol to get to the show area and then switch to nitromethane to blip the motor and smoke the back tire.

Note his first bike does have a license. This is so he can drive it from the parking area to the show area. This sometimes requires moving it on a formal road.

Having seen what happens to these engines when they let go, it's not a very good spot to sit right there
I'd love to have a crack at it though
