Just over cast skies...and some welcome rain... In my area however no rain and fires are all around us. The smoke from the big California fire as well as a number of fires in Utah as well as those nearer to us have filled our skies with so much smoke that visibility is maybe 5 or 6 miles. There have been days that I can't see any of the mountains that surround us. Today I can just make the close ones out. Hasn't been a good summer for the west. 2 percent humidity last week. If you fart you might set your pants on fire.

We’re heading up the the Grand Tetons, Glacier and Banff later this month...since we’re coming up thru Colorado I’m hoping the fires/smoke will be over...hate that smell!

Just spent a week in Boulder and Denver, doing a lot of hiking in the nearby mountains - no smoke at all for the past week or so .
