MG TD TF 1500 - XPAG Oil dripping pan
Dear all,
as usual I found some oil drips under nice the engine unfortunately on the entrance of a Hotel, which was made from Marmore. I found in the BBS different proposals how to overcame this issue. First proposal: For the front end a lip seal is recommended. second proposal is a small oil dripping cup underneath the Clutch Bell. The last Idee I found was a Cake-Pan sold from a local bakery which was mounted underneath the oil sump. The guy wo make that solution on his TD gave me the "guaranty" that never ever oil comes out of the System Any body here experience w1th such a solution? May be some body can give information's how to install such a cake plate. |

CK, You can always install one of my stainless steel laser cut "cake plates". No tools required to empty it. You can reach the tap easily from kneeling at the side of the car. Regards Declan ![]() ![]() |

Hi Declan, Tried to contact you via the MG Experience website to get a price to the UK for one of your "cake plates" only to have the email returned. What did I do wrong? |

JK, You probably missed out on the underscore in my email address. That often causes problems. I regret ever having introduced it. Regards Declan |

I have one of Declan's excellent can jobbies. Works a treat. Just have to remember to empty the thing now and again. :) Rod ![]() |
