Triumph TR3 - TR3/Ford 302 V8 for sale
Mike Donovan is selling his TR3/Ford 302. I saw it a few years ago, and it was a well done conversion. He's asking $14,000 for it, and I think that's a good price, it's well worth it. For details, see http://www.britishv8.org/Triumph/MikeDonovan.htm |

I appreciate all the work and craftsmanship, but to me it's just a TR3 shaped object. A scary one at that. |

"but to me it's just a TR3 shaped object" You say that as if it's wrong. |

LOL, I love the TR3's shape, Dan! Have you ever seen a Buick/Rover V8 in a 3? I like the Mitsubishi 3 liter 6, would love to have the skills and shop to put one in a 3 shaped object. |

Hi, Tom, Yes, I have seen a BOP/Rover in a TR3, and there's one on the British v8 website http://www.britishv8.org/Triumph/tr3v8.htm The Ford 302 is actually smaller externally than the BOP/Rover, but it does weigh a good bit more. Even so, it's not a lot heavier than the stock TR3 engine, so the weight balance is not thrown off that much. Is the Mitsubishi 3L 6 an inline or a V? |

It's a single or double OHC V. My experience with them is Chrysler minivans, but the Dodge Stealth, oh man! 32 valve, twin turbo. I think the code for the basic engine is 6G72. |
