Triumph TR6 - 74 car seats question
Hi, For those who redid their late model car seats, I have a question for you. On the parts catalogs, they were listed seperately for the right and the leftside. Since my seat foams were quite gone, I can't tell how different are they. When you got your seat foam, can you tell they are left or right? and how different are they? Also same question for the seat cover, since I havn't took mine apart yet. I planned to sculp the foam and reuse the cover which is original in a fair shape for the time being. thanks Paddy |

Paddy, you won't find any difference in the foam kits themselves. What is different between the two seats is the frame, passenger side leans in toward the driver and the drivers seat leans into the passenger. Just make note of which seat cover is which and replace them for the same side. I assume you are going to replace the diaphams as well? They make the most difference. Make special note of which mounting hole the slider rack attaches to the on the seat frame, driver side is different from passenger, they are opposite to each other. Good luck, Chris |

Don, Please email it over. I heard there will be a swap meet in Englishtown this weekend. I am still looking for a 4.5" bullit mirror for the passenger side. Have you been there in the past? Paddy |

Oh, BTW I found out I can get custom leather seat cover made in China for $200 a pair. I am thinking about taking the covers to Beijing and get it made. Paddy |
