Triumph TR6 - 74 TR6 emissions/recovery/PCV schematic

Does anyone have a proper emissions/vacume/PCV/recovery schematic or link to one they can share...the PO and others have had their way with mine over the years and now I'd like to get it sorted out. I learned that with the 1275 "A" series engine you need "proper" PCV in order to keep the oil in the engine and in the right places. Someones stripped and jury rigged most of what is in my 74. Thanks in advance.

Is there not one in the Bentley manual?
DON KELLY

Having said maual would help but since I don't and it would take time to get one I thought I'd ask here if someone could shed some light.

I believe TRF's blue book has an accurate representation of the emission control equipment for the 74.

Go to TRF website and look up the blue book. Link below. Look at the fuel system drawings. Page 43 and carburetors page 71. Hope this is what you are looking for.

Thanks Don, downloading it now. Took the day off work tomorrow to dedicate to the car and see if I can get her started.
JT White

Whew, thanks again...that will be put to use tomorrow. Just spent an hour or so browsing it and taking mental notes.

No luck on starting it today. Ordered new points, condenser, wires, cap, rotor. Getting fuel/compression plus I can get a light to go on/off with the points when wired in line with the coil just don't get much of a snap/spark when the points open/close. No spark to the plugs. Taking a break from it.

Naw, just the manual

What about a new coil also?

I was right. Just read your post on your other thread.

Coil replaced and engine starts.

Get her going and down the road consider going to Pertronix electronic ignition. A nice neat little setup.

Gentlemen, I am not familiar with the CD's that you speak of but would be very interested in getting them.
