WOW guys we are getting closer to the Healey.....or is a AH a 30K car now?
Rick Crawford

I would say $30K is the bottom end for a primo restored big Healy. I doubt you will ever find a Healy in the same condition as this TR6, i.e., 3K miles on the clock. Heck, the TR may still have that new car smell.

A shop in Edmonton redid a 73. Heritage body and the works. It appraised at $32,000 Cdn. or about $23,000 U.S. But I'd choose the original on Ebay any day. Hey I think our cars have been undervalued too long. I'm all for a higher value on these gems, that is except when it comes time to pay the insurance premuims.

I have serious reservations about the stated condition of vehicles listed on ebay! I think only a careful examination could reveal the true state of this car! I am not saying it isnt as lsited because I dont know but there are lot of wild claims made. Have you ever noticed how almost every other TR listed is an arizona or texas car with no rust ha ha ha!
Michael

Although it only has 3K on it, what happens to rubber after nearly 30 years? Can original bushings last that long? I'd think not. Owner also doesn't state what regular maintenance was done. Hope those aren't the original fluids!

I'd rather have a recent restore than an original. Maybe it's just me, but that's my two cents! (1.27 cents Canadian).
