Triumph TR6 - Alistair - re Rocker Cover
Hey Alistair... I finally got around to installing the rocker(valve assembly) cover I bought from you. Not only does it look good it doesn't leak nor does the cap leak. I'm not used to that. Here's a pic or two. Ken ![]() |

Hi Ken I am glad it finally made it onto a car! It sat in my garage for a lot longer than you had it waiting to install. Speakign of garages, I just got my Triumphs down to the new house in Texas. First time I have had them both in the same garage! I was originally going to drive the TR6 down, but after driving a "real" car down and seeing just how big America is (and how awful the roads are in some places!) I decided to pay a shipping company to bring them both! Now if someone can explain how to move the garage door track up towards the ceiling I can get the 4 post lift my wife promised me... Cheers Alistair ![]() |

Alistair, NJ to Texas? What gives? |
DON KELLY |
NJ to "anywhere else" would seem quite logical. :0 |

Wouldn't disagree with that in a heartbeat |

I just found that I wasn't sweating enough in New Jersey. No such problems down in Texas! NJ isn't as bad as its reputation, to be fair. Worse than the residents would have you believe, though... |

Old joke: "I'm from Jersey" "Yeah" "What Exit?" |

Well, I wasn't gonna say much but Texas! My goodness, isn't DFW bigger than NJ? What a change! Having spent time in the Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, DFW and of course driven across the state a few times (takes two days) I'm taken aback at that move. Tell us more about what you are up to. Ken |
