Triumph TR6 - An electrical mystery

Here's one for all you TR6 detectives.......I have a 71 TR6 that I've been working on for several summers. After reassembling the dashboard and all the gages I'm left with a relay? about an inch in diameter and two inches long with a tab on the top for attaching to whatever. This relay has two terminals, one with two wires attached, both purple/slate. The other terminal has a green/black wire attached. In addition, I have a dash style light with a black wire and a purple/slate wire attached. Last of all, near by hangs a purple/ slate wire with a spade connector.
All of the wires disappear into the harness under the dash. Every thing works so, obviously, none of the above in needed.
The car originally had overdrive which was removed sometime in it's past life. My wiring diagram has none of the above shown. Any thoughts?????

No relay behind the dash at all. The slate wire is for a buzzer. It might be the seat buzzer and if it is I want it. Post a photo. Do you have Dan's skimatic of the car

Does it look like this (see Upload)

What happen to the upload

I'd send a photo but it's exactly like your posted picture. The terminals are titled as W1 and C1. The rivet and raised bar sitting between the two terminals is C2. Looks as is it could be another terminal location but no wire attachment blade has been fastened to the rivet. I don't know if this is a good working part or not but you are welcome to it as I'm going to cut these wires off at the harness in any case.

That is the buzzer and I would like it.Been looking for one for a while. I want to use it for my inertia switch buzzer

Give me your address, Don, and I'll send it on it's way after the weekend
