My oh my Deja vu

That's what my 69 essentially started out like. The only thing different I would say with the article is with the exception of the doors and most of the body steel, mine is the original parts (gauges, steering wheel, dash, engine, tranny, drive train, rims). And since i wanted it done so I could drive it, my project was a little faster at 3 years.

Matte black was not the 'proper' treatment on the 69. It was the only year with the body color rear panel, and windscreen frame, for that matter. myself, I prefer the black.
....and Don, ya gotta up yer standards a little?!?!?!
