Triumph TR6 - BBSBBQ A OK

5 TR6's, 10 BBSers and one brother inlaw...
a perfect day was spent driving in some of the finest
weather we've had all summer, eating the best Bbq
fare and great conversation. Then there was that glorious drive home, top down, listening to tunes in a T-shirt. That one day that stays in your head all winter. Thanks to Rick and Sheryl for their wonderful hospitality, terrific home and fanastic food.
I think Charlie got a photo of us all that he might
post.
The rest of you within driving distance, try not to miss next years, it was a hell of a day.

Yup gotta admit, you know it is a good day when you hop back into the TR (after a stop to take some pics and enjoy your seroundings) and the seats will give you a warm rear end:) Gilly ( my brother-in-law) took a whole bunch of pics coming down the Beaver Valley road but I guess he forgot to turn the camera on...I will thank him for cooking and give him you know what for the pics:). Agreed...The day, meeting new TR friends, see old TR friends, and the drive will be a good winter memory. Was my best tour this summer. It was a pleasure for Cheryl and I to host the "FIRST ANNUAL BBS BBQ". Next year we need to add a few more TRs to the group.
See you at Bronte.

Rick, Chris,
I am truly sad to have missed it. I will be there next year for sure as my TR6 is close to being "drivable".

I too will attend Bronte. Maybe all the BBSers should rendez vous some where or where name tags to give a clue ......a secret hand shake ...ha ha.
By the way Rick you are a good example of what people should be like, I am sure I speak for most and that we are lucky to have you here.
Lastly I am a memeber here and after many attempts (even re registering) I still show up as non memeber..oh well (?)

Just saw your post. You are too kind. I am by no means the most informative person on this BBS. we DO have a good group here and are very helpfull to all. Hope you went and saw Charlie's good job of posting some TR6 BBS BBQ pics.
That is weird you can not register...lower your settings for cookies? Maybe it is because you are trying to "register" from a business and some how will not allow?
Will be meeting up with Pete and Bonnie Russell in Erin (Brisbane) then down 25 through Acton and Milton. There are many spots in Milton where West (tri-city BBSers) and East (Brampton/Mississauga) TR6s can meet. Then down 25 to the park with a wee jog on HWY 5 to Burloak.
Chris..could meet you in Orangeville?? or will you be going down the BIG roads?

Hay JEFF, TORONTO...this is an all British car show that is a must!

See you at Bronte.

Marcello, Rick,

It may in the way things are bookmarked. If your default bookmark takes you directly to the BBS page, you never get the opportunity to log in under your member name and password. Suggest that you try going to:

http://www.british-cars.co.uk/

and look to the right hand side of the screen for a blue filed that is titled "Membership Access." Click on Triumph, that will take you to the log in screen, bookmark that one.

I keep the BBS bookmarked under both the "no log in" and under the "log in" options. I typically go to the "no log in" as I have it set as a default, but the other option is just a couple of mouse clicks away. Pick whichever one you want and go from there.

Rick, I can meet you guys any where you like.
