Triumph TR6 - Brake pressure switch

Anyone know the thread on the brake pressure switch that taps into teh reducer below the MC? I want to put a plug in there until the replacement arrives.

Thanks

Are you replacing the switch because you are seeing brake fluid at the switch or is the switch missing and you just want to keep stuff from getting in the PDWA?

If you are seeing brake fluid at the switch, the issue is not the switch, it is the PDWA seals that are leaking and need to be replaced. If all you want to do is keep stuff out of the hole due to a missing switch, a piece of tape to cover it up until the new switch arrives will do the trick.

What part are you waiting on?

Not knowing where the leak is, I'm replacing both the seals and the nylon switch.

The switch you can get at a pick & pull. Most older Fords used them.
I bought a new one many years ago

Since you plan on replacing the PDWA seals, that should take care of the leak. It's been a while, but if I'm recalling correctly the threads on the switch are a 3/8-24. Unless you just want to/need to replace the switch or if yours is missing, there is reason to do so since it does not act as a fluid seal.
