Triumph TR6 - Can anyone identify this part??

Sorry, last link was not working. Again, can anyone identify this part? It came from the passenger footwell, up under the dash of a 1974 Triumph TR6. Thanks for the help.

Be careful with that thing....IT'S A BOMB!!!! Actually it's the ignition interlock/seat belt buzzer! Something a few of us that owned BL cars in the mid-70's wanted to(or did) blow up!:)

Thanks for the replies.
It is indeed a seatbelt interlock, and it also prevents the car from starting when it goes bad!!
I did some calling around and found a NOS one, which is great. Thanks again

Lucky me my OLDER TR6 did not come with one.
Can you simply by-pass it...sounds like a "California approved" useless piece of junk that is not worth the money to replace it.
