Triumph TR6 - Coil talk one step further

Well friends, I just found a site that takes all the ignition coil discussion one step beyond reality. How about replacing that little single coil and installing a coil pack with crank sensors on your little TR 6. An interesting page with do -it yourself instructions and nice little pics. This is one for your hardcore go over board type.

The coil packs would be a great improvement! Do you know who makes them and the cost?

My guess is you can use anyones coil pack. Gm and Ford use them.Where I saw that there is another page on doing it to a Miata

One other note. I found that in Ask Jeeves, I was looking for a way to test the packs on my wife's Bonneville. I typed in "how do I test coil pack on gm cars"

Remember than Ask Jeeves is just another gofer/web crawler like Google. It points you to an existing webpage, but Jeeves is a bit coy about this fact. If you look in the top of the Jeeves window frame there is an item "Address". Follow that, and it will take you to the original page, not their mirror of it. (Google, on the contrary, sends you straight there.)
