Triumph TR6 - Day Trip

Great day for a drive here after a series of storms during the week. Headed North from Oakville through Belfountain to Orangeville and up to Creemore for lunch. After picking up a pack of the local brew, headed West and down through Arthur, Belwood and home. Spot-on 200 miles in total and a full dose of sun. The TR6 ran like a dream and I am still smiling.

Drove last evening doing the Woodward Cruise, if anybody else knows what that is.? 80 deg. Clear skies. And the TR6 was running great. Definately a great time. I know what you mean Barry!

Ya but Woodward is mostly American metal. Still, must have been cool to be part of it.

Rick,

You might be surprized how much attention I get...mostly positive. People love it because all they see is the American metal. Even when I park amongst all of the "hot rodders" I get some of them coming over and at least admiring my work. And yes I get a few sneers. But that's ok... I usually point out the cost difference in vehicles. I would love to have one of our American classics but the prices these day's is way more than I'm willing or able to pay. I would love to have a 65 or 66 Corvette!

By the way, the actual official cruise is a couple of weeks away. But still there are alot of "pre-cruisers" driving and parking. It's quite a show down that strip on any summer weekend.

You should come down and check it out. You'll see cars of all kinds...domestic and foriegn.

I just got back from 2 days in Vermont. We stayed overnight in Stowe. The waether was fabulous. Drove a total of 310 miles. That makes over 4300 miles so far this summer.
