Triumph TR6 - Front Spoiler

Victoria British Ltd. has a spoiler listed for 73-76 Tr-6's. Will this spoiler fit my 72? Does anyone know where I can find one otherwise?

Joe,
The valance panel is drilled for a spoiler 73-76. 69-72...you have to drill holes. A friend of mine is doing exactly that, we both bought new spoilers at the same time from Rimmers, he's drilling, I bolted mine on my 74.

Joe,
I bought a new construction spoiler from a source off of e-bay (cost me about 125.00). The item was fiberglass formed off of the original my 1972 like yours was an easy match find the spot in the center of the car to match it up to and drill your holes couple of clamps and you are there. The front valance didn't cxhange year to year just the spoiler and directional light appearance.

I was typing while Rod was responding I guess the only valance change is drilled holes. Very easy install the source I found on e-bay was bluechips2001. the price was 125.00 plus freight. Good product good guy.

Has anyone seen the repos by TRF? Interested to know how good they look.

I bought one from Rimmer's a couple of years ago, and it sits in my basement rafters as I refused to put this fiberglass imitation on my car. I just received the TRF spoiler, and it's a beauty! If anyone out there wants the fiberglass one for a greatly reduced price, contact me offline. John E.

Don--From my web browsing, I get the impression the TRF repros are excellent. I used socket head cap screws/nuts to attach mine as that is a firmer installation than simple sheet metal screws.

One of these days I'll put a "T R I U M P H" transfer on the spoiler just like the Group 44 photos I've seen.

There are 2 original OEM spoilers listed on p. 40 of the TRF sale catalog I received this week. They're reasonable at $140. each.
