Triumph TR6 - H-E-L-P Electrical nightmare
So I went ahead and removed the A/C unit and now my "ignition" light does not come on before start and the brake lights don't work and I'm haveing a hard time sorting through it all since someone b4 me has done some electrical "work" I can disconnect the alt with the car running with no change to the volt meter or otherwise so with out the ignition light on before start I feel the alt is doing nothing at this point...my turn signals are itermittant. I've found several green, green yellow and green brown wires un plugged on the right side of the heater box, one is hot with the key but I'm unsure of how they go or if they were even hooked togther prior to the A/C removal...I tried to be careful and only remove those wires that were specific to the A/c unit. Stumped and FRUSTRATED at this point. |

I have the brake lights and turn signals working now but still no ignition light. Any ideas? |

Fixed it....thanks for all your help! Just kidding....took about 6 hours but I think I've gotten most of it sorted. I'll spend a little time getting the loom straighted out and neatened up BUT I have to get the XJS ready for our clubs show this week end. Anyone in the NE Florida area come on out to TPC Sawgrass this Saturday for our Jaguar Concourse and British car show. |

DON KELLY |
Well, Don given that I was always only # 3 behind William Alexander and Paula Allen, I think I'd rank pretty close to the top. Opps!@! Sorry just read the rest of your post!! db |
