Triumph TR6 - Headlamps

Has anyone installed modern headlamps on their TR6. I've been looking at what's available from Moss, Roadster Factory, and Victoria British. I like the P700's; but Moss, in reference to the PL700's which they sell, say that they are not up to modern standards. I'd really appreciate some input on this. I like the look of the P700 and PL700 series; but, I don't want to replace the lights for looks alone. I want better vision and style. After all, it is a TR6.

You can't afford "real P700"s All the new ones are Retro. If you want a good lens and lamp. Get a Cibie and a nice H4 with 55/100's for em .
Add a relay for your sanity.

Another thing to consider. Read this guys stuff

Much thanks to Don Kelly for the info. I guess my problem is that I want both "looks" and performance. I am leaning towards Moss' P700 Tripod with their 65-55 halogen bulbs. Will this give me what I want in performance, or am I wasting my money? Surely, someone "out there' has the answer?
Thanks,

Cool look and decent light . The Cibie's are a better all around lens.

But the 700 are cool retro lookin.

Ditch the 55/65 and go 55/100's

Thanks, again, for the info. I'll be acting on it in the near future.

DON KELLY

Yes, he seems to have everything we might need to do whatever up grade we might want. One stop shopping, with tech support.
