Triumph TR6 - IRS Frame Mounts
Does anyone know why there are 3 sets of mounting holes on the frame for the trailing arms? Noticed on one sight they are there on repops as well. Multi fit 4A maybe? Bill |

Bill, I think they put that hole there so there would be just one more place for water to be driven inside the frame. |

Bill, They are a carry-over from the live axle version of the TR4A. I used those holes on my TR6 to change over to a live axle (Ford 9") set-up on my V8 conversion, using the TR4A brackets. One set of holes are for the IRS, and the others are for the live axle. |

Hey Chris Yeah most likely. Designing my own trying to decide whats best. When you look at it though maybe someone had an idea for different trailing arm and wider sneakers? Repops just stayed with the design not knowing why. Ron and Roger are your trailing arms attached to the outside holes? |

Thanks Dan Sorry I missed prior to posting I type slow. So live axle 4. With a Ford 9". May just add them mounts to design consideration while on the drill press. Plugged up for water inhale. Not that I would ever do something as wild as that..:) Hmm channel bar bridge may enable spring perch narrow. Cut into package shelf. MickyTs mounted run ChrisT at sunup on sideroad. Nahh getting old. But the rear view of that little darling would be something serious? |

Bill, This August in Grand Rapids Mich. there's going to a meeting of the British V8 conversions. Some of the badest brit hot rods will be there, and if I'm lucky I'll get a chance to drag race Dan if he gets his conversion finished by then. Your welcome to come if you like. Chris |

Very interested Chris keep me posted. Bill |
