Charlie Thanks a bunch for accepting one of the older relics on the site. I mean the car,I'm above the average but I think Don is still the senior member. How was your trip to Jolly Old England Don? The project below the TR2 is a 70 TR6 that is on it's way back to life. Will hopefully make a full recovery by next spring. Finding the archives very usefull and entertaining. Brian

Fine looking bunch of autos, guys. You should be proud.

Little bit at a time Don - you've got one - that's the main thing. To quote one of the big boy's motto "Keep 'em on the road!"

Hey Charlie:

Happy Father's Day to all you TR connoisseurs out there! Checked out your link this a.m., Charlie. Your car is practically a twin to my white '76 except I have the luggage rack. Lost my distributor this week (long story) so took the down time to install tube shock conversion; KYB gas shocks. Really neat & simple kit except the supplied bolts were fine thread & the existing bolts on levers are coarse. Used the long coarse threads - no prob. Hope it works as good as it looks. Will have new dist in today (Father's Day - so I can play all day)Check out Drake's British Motors in Kelowna for some great looking TR's; also have MG's but not my thing. www.drakesbritishmotors.com I got my '76 from them & they are a really nice son & pop operation. We shipped two cars to Nfld. - my '76 & a fully restored stunning red '74. Happy motoring!

Don, notice there aren't a lot of closeups of the loose wires under the dash, etc? And right now, my seat backs look like you know what--really bad. Each one has about 1 clip that works and I can't find new ones! Actually, calling all the suppliers is my goal for today, in between the important requirements of my work, of course!
