Triumph TR6 - Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas Guys & Gals and may the New Year bring you Health, Happiness and many TR6 bits! The TR6 is currently snowbound and the plan to move her to alternate winter storage is on hold, however at 14C in the garage she is snug and accompanied by a bottle of Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, which I have to go check on every so often in case it evaporates or something. This is probably the first Christmas in years that we have actually had snow on the ground on Dec. 25th but this year we've got the most I've seen since I was a kid. Got 10 cm yesterday cleaned that up and got 20 more overnight & probably another 30 or 40 since Dec. 1st. Hope that's all! Can't wait for Spring. Cheers, Bob 1976 - TR6 |

Hi Bob....-12 here and light snow / many power outages due to ice storm snapping branches all over..We had a chilly 9 hours without power Have a great festive season and all the best to you and Carol We will see you nest August !! Charlie and Holly |

Thanks Guys - hope the Ontario and Maritime residents don't have too rough a time with the outages. We've been fortunate here as we had the 130 KPH (81mph) winds and we didn't even lose the power. It's been real cold so no freezing rain to contend with. Now I feel better - bring on the snow :) Charlie: I'll be sure to pass on yours and Holly's greetings to Carol, but please, when you come this August, don't tell Linda there's a Carol ")You meant Christmas carol right? Cheers, Bob |

Here's wishing that all have had a great Christmas celebrating the wondrous holiday with family and friends. Weather is a bother all over. Here in the sunny (?) South awoke to 22 F this morning. Snuggling by the fire with a dram of an 18 y/o Talisker, a gift from Santa. Wishing you all a great 2014 with much driving weather and good results of all things mechanical. db |

Ah Bob, the 18 y/o Macallan would be lonely w/o it's friend Talusker nearby. I'll gladly share, should you find your journeys bring you near North Alabama. db |

Doug: You may live to regret the invitation. I love the South and may go visit family in SC so not a stretch to come and drink your stuff one of these fine days! Of course I would give advance warning............. Charlie: you're definitely busted....... lusting after Holly's sister Carol....... Lecherous old bugger :) Cheers, Bob |

Bob, A fine malt, like a fair maiden, should not be tested before it's time. 18 y/o's and about 92 Proof are my favorites except for Lagavulin of course which insists on staying at 16. Come on down and we'll share a dram or three and discuss LBCs and fine scotch whisky. Come on a third Thursday of odd numbered months and you can meet my scotch tasting pals. Huntsville is not really representative of the Old South; more like DC but smaller & w/o the Beltway and politicians. db |

Bob- Is that a warning? |

We had a lovely couple of days over Christmas with temps above zero, but alas we are back in the freezer at minus 30 where we have been for most of December. TR6 is snug in the back garage with its Coventry cousins, waiting for the festive madness to subside so that I can get to enjoy some quality shop time. The best to you all for the New Year! Tony |
