Triumph TR6 - radiator
Quick question Does anyone know if a radiator for a 75 -76 will fit into a 72 Thanks Dave |

Dave I think it will. I think the only difference was that earlier ones (up to CC75000/'72)had a drain tap. The angled support brackets are the same. The top rad hose is different but can be worked around. Rick C |

Dave-The difference in the rads is in the top hose outlet. It comes out straight on the early cars and makes a 90 deg. bend on the later ones. Also, the angle of the hose connection on the thermostat housing is changed to match the rad, as well as the top hose. The rad and hoses are shown on plate CC of the vol 1 TRF catalog. |

1/4 inch of ice here today, anybody know what a re-core for a radiator should cost. thanks dave |

It depends on whether you had pure water in it (frozen solid) or if it had an antifreeze mix in it ! It should run between $175 to $250.00 in US dollars. Don Elliott, 1958 TR3A PS - It's 16 degress F (-8 C) here this AM. Yes I have antifreeze. |
