Triumph TR6 - Replacement Bumper
Unfortunately, my 73 TR6 needs a new front bumper. Has anyone bought one from LBC and if so how was the quality/fit. Thanks |

Why does it need to be replaced? |
DON KELLY |
I hit a pot hole and the bumper got crumpled a little so I figured it had to be replaced. Maybe it can be straighten and rechromed? |
JW BRAW |
The previous owner of my car, his girl friend hit a deer and crumbled the front. I had it straightened and redone. The original will always be better than new material. Besides that, the new will arrive not perfect and you be up set anyway! |
DON KELLY |
JW, Don's right, the original is likely better material than you're apt to find reproduced today and it can be straightened. Try Tristate Plating near Johnson City TN. They'll straighten the bumper, repair the dent and triple plate with nickel, copper, chrome with a lifetime guarantee for not too many George's! Shipping is reasonable too. db |

I also agree...stick with the original and have it repaired/rechromed. Rick |

Do you have a web address for them. I don't find a TRISTATE Plating in TN when I do a google search. I find ones in WV, KY but not TN. Thanks |

JW, Are you familar with CRS...?? Well I, along with many others suffer this malady that seems to advent with advancing age and increases in severity as the years go on. Try: http://www.tricityplating.com/ Elizabethton TN. db |

Yes I have a severe case of CRS. How dumb of me not to put all 3 words together. I tried a lot of combination's. Thanks |

Help me out guys....What does CRS stand for again? I can't remember. Rick |

Rick, Go have a couple of bubbly pops and it'll all come back to you! db |
