Triumph TR6 - Roll Bar - Need Help

Hi Guys:
Found a single hoop TR6 roll bar like I've been looking for and wonder if anybody out there is close enough to Pickering, Ontario to go have a look at it for me or if there's a LBC club in that area where I could get the same help. Please, I don't expect anybody to take a long drive or anything, especially given the winter conditions, but one never knows who may be close to or travelling to the area. Picture the bar as essentially being half of the one shown, with different bracing.
Thanks,
Bob

Hello Bob
I just so happen to live in the west side of Pickering, which is part of Durham and has a LBC called
Eastenders British Car Club which has it,s own Facebook site.
If you give me the shop location i may be able to have a look for you.

Malcolm, no offense but since it still probably is not a legal rollbar . I think it is a lot of work .
DON KELLY

I think a single loop over the driver would look good but I'm not a fan of the dual loop....IMHO they don't match the lines of the car (or any for that matter) a single driver loop or a full squarish bar (not too high) would look good too.

Thanks Guys:

Malcolm and I are in contact and will take it from here. Maybe even by phone Don. Regarding the design; it's a style bar, whether one or two hoops are used and most of those other full bars one sees in TR6's are likely style bars also as they probably won't meet SCCA specs. As I said before, after six years of restoration work on the TR6 I dunno if I'd want to survive a rollover. :>(

Hey Guys
No offence taken,i have a full roll over bar in the basement, never like the look's of it.
I saerch the Flea market for a single hoop and always arrive 10 min behind the guy who just bought it.
Ive seen these as a double in a six at one of the shows. There was a thread yaers ago about building your own at one of BBS members factory.

Francois use to build and sell them. Noticed his site is void of mention so bet he got out of the bar business.
DON KELLY

I like the looks Bob. Gotta agree, one bar might look better.

Hi Guys:

Got a deal made on the bar. The pic was too large to load at 2.80 MB. Thanks for the input and the wisecracks. Thanks for your help Malcolm. Now to remove and relocate the driver's side seat belt retractor to make room.
Cheers,
Bob

Looking forward to pictures of it installed.
