Triumph TR6 - Shoul have checked with us

Karen Border and Christian Hagenbuch have spent some of their spare time over the past year in scanning Volume Two of our big TR6 catalogue. This has been out of print for a few years, and even used copies have been in great demand. Web Wizard, Don Erickson is adapting the catalogue for our web site. In a few weeks, you will have Volume Two available to you on the web site

Right Rick???
DON KELLY

Don,
Not really. I sort of transcribed the TRF Vol II which is on cd II, but I also talked with Charlie and provided a copy of cd I & II to John Swauger, with an admonition that they needed to get VOL II back on the street. I'd like to have a better hard copy than the one I printed, but with digital technology where it is and printing costs where they are, that's unlikely. Nonetheless, for those without, TRF's VOL II will be up and running soon on their website. Along with VOL I, I found these to be the most used references for the TR-6.

There is a volume 1 in cyber space??
I have 3 hard copies.
DON KELLY

No TRF Vol I in digits of which I'm aware. I only have one hard copy and it's getting well worn. TRF has these in stock, but have been out of stock on VOL II for years.

Don, 'nother thought...I have the wherewithal to digitize VOL I, although it'd be a labor intensive exercise. I'd have to convince my daughter to scan each page into a file and then create probably a PDF of the whole thing. I'd want to check with Charlie before I did that though. He did not object to doing VOL II. What do ya think the interest is/might be?

Rick?

Doug
YOU THE MAN!!!!
I would definitely be interested in a copy. As you know VOL II is a scanned copy in digital form. Yes would take a while to scan but having both Volumes in digital would be preserving 2 publications that I used very much in putting humpty dumpty back together. I have referred to these in the past as the 2 bibles.
Put me on the list please.

If TRF puts a digital copy (of VOL I) up on their WEB site, can we not just go there and get it?

You can go there and possibly look at it. Maybe they protect it?

If I had the cajones I would take one of mine apart and scan it to PDF. I have an older professional version
DON KELLY

Don,
Ask me about my stainless steel ones sometime!! GO for it. Life's short and the hereafter is forever!!
