Triumph TR6 - springs
Hi,just wondering what springs you are riding on? I replaced the originals{WORN OUT} with the uprated springs. Not happy ,car looked like a 4X4 even after two years. So I decided to replace with stock springs,I now have 4'FROM TOP OF TIRE TO BODY,looks even worse.I run 15"wheels with 205/70/15 tires. Just wondering if anyone is using RG 1"lowered springs? Pics would be nice, and what is the ride like? Cheers Ian |

I run same size wheels/tires and replaced the springs two years ago with stock height from BPNW. I think the car rides well and looks right. I also did TA bushings and a tube shock conversion so I cannot say that the ride is due only to the new springs. If you would like some pix of how the car sits let me know. Ken |

Hi Ken, Thanks for your reply, I also did the TA bushings and tube shock conversion? Please post pics, there can not be that many spring manufacters for a tr6? Did your car sit high when you first installed them? I was told wait a year? For what it is worth,I did like the uprated springs, much firmer |

No, the car did not sit high in my view. Send me your email address. My files are too large to upload. Ken smokeyssonATgmailDOTcom |

Two pix sent Ian. Let me know if you need any other info. Ken PS You might want to disguise your email address for the "crawlers" that sift through transmissions and discussion boards looking for addresses to load with spam. Use DOT and AT as I have in my address above. Then again, they may have this figured out by now but its an attempt. |
