Triumph TR6 - strange dash question
I'm looking at buying a new dashboard and I use a finger pull on my 74...does the hole have to be modified (ie, is the hole bigger on pre 72 cars) to accomodate the pull or is the chrome latch smaller then the black latch and the holes on all cars are the same size...I'd rather just get a chrome latch and leave the hole be if thats the case...the dash builder said he would cut the hole larger to accomodate the TR4A finger pull as he put it....moss list tr4a and tr6 pulls as same part #. So do I need to have him cut it bigger? Also he asked if I needed the reliefs cut on the back of the door as in the tr4a??? Did the "finger pull" tr6's have this cut? Thanks. |

Never done it so I was going off fuzzy memory as my Bro in law put one on his 74. Thought it was a no cut em deal. Guess not Thanks JT |

I put one on 70 TR6 and I did have it retro fit it a little, wasn't to hard. |
