Triumph TR6 - supercharged TR6

I went by the machinest's shop that is helping me with my supercharged, intercooled, EFI, air conditioned,TR6. I took 13 photos although it is not quite finished. Anybody know where I can post these for anyone interested in looking at them?

Hi Gene

Charlies working on sight constrictions and a light came on in my old brain I think I can give him my web space and trafic. So that may be an option Jan. 1st.

But that I want to see right now. Please!
My e-mail is there. High speed cable with 60 gigs of space. So send them on down full tilt.

Gene,

Just to make it fair - I'll trade you my second born for those photo's.

Would you care to elaborate on your engines specifications, supercharger type, FI type & software, intercooler ect. I have been designing a custom FI S/C system (but without A/C) on paper similar to what you are describing for my TR6 and would love to hear what you have come up with.
Thanks Jeff

I don't have a way of posting pictures yet. If you don't mind getting my pics 2 or 3 at a time,(I have 12) so far, e-mail me direct and I'll send them to you. I've chatted with Mitch Self-the site that Dan M left. That is great! He's carburated though. I hope EFI will be as good as his.

I finally found how to post my pics. Try this- http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/superchargedtr6/my_photos

Gene- Is that a test block you are using or has your car been to deep in "low country"?

It is definatly a motor that had been lying around in a crashed TR for word has it 18 years. But all I need was something to work off of. It was cheap, what can I say?

Gene,
That's a neat blower- very compact.
Isn't it going to be bit tight fitting the alternator without it fouling the chassis?

It is pretty unbelievable how close everything is. There is no problem with the alt clearing as far as we can tell- it is the a/c compressor that seems may be the problem. I look to having to modify the cross chassis support to clear. I also went to the GM r-4 compressor due to its slim design depth wise. It was needed to clear the header. Hope to post more pics soon.

I am a newcomer with having purchased a 1970 TR-6 not too long
ago. If anyone can give me some good pointers or advice on how to restore it, I would appreciate it. It is in fair condition. I am not too great as a mechanic, but I love British cars. Also own a 2000
Jaguar S-Type. How about painting it myself? Anyone there that has advice on that. Have they done it and been successful? Do you strip the paint off down to the metal? Let me hear from you all.
L.A. SMITH

L.A. Smith,
You would be be much better off starting a new thread with your questions and request for help. This thread as you can see concerns supercharging.
You will not find a better bunch of guys to help with
any question you might have.
Some of the best people to help you may not care for the subject of supercharging and therefore might never
read this thread and not see your questions.
Good luck.

Well done CT
