Triumph TR6 - Those Wild Canadian Mayors

Can't say that I've ever lived in a town where this happened. Any place that I have ever lived that had a mayoral scandle was just your routine graft and corruption.

Seems the mayor of Houston B.C. was photgraphed by her husband in the mayors's chamber wearing her chain of office. Check out this link for the radio report:

I wonder if there was a goose involved.......
SteveP

Bit of envy there Steve..:)

This good looking old girl at 48 puts Monica in her right place. I'd throw in a vote.

It's our health system. Shovel snow/Mow grass.
Well I'm off to do a little politicing of my own. Nighty night

I think there's a law against goose abuse.

I may have to contact the SPCG.

Bit disappointed, thought there might have been some pictures!!

U.K Sun on line. Gives new meaning to Canadian EH?
Bill Brayford

Love that strategically placed maple leaf graphic, nice touch. It may just be me, but somehow I cannot imagine that the proposed saucy shots of Ken Livingstone would get the same reaction and what would they use instead of the maple leaf, a jar of Marmite or sleeve of Twiglets perhaps?
SteveP

Cheers Bill, you've definately got more interesting politicians, maybe it'll start a fashion!!
R. Algie

Just goes to disprove the theory that Canadian Cougars hibernate in the winter time.

The Mayor would be a very Patriotic Canadian with or without the Mapleleaf.
Our National animal is of course a fine Beaver.
Bill Brayford

I refuse to comment lest the goose be offended.

After all....

Goosing a beaver's illegal in this country!!
R. Algie

In Canada the Beaver is an unprotected animal and hunting beaver is a pastime that is encouraged and revered. The biggest problem, however, is that when you catch a beaver, quite often you need to get rid of your LBC fleet to make room in the household for that beaver. Beaver's in the house can be a lot of fun in the beginning but can be very expensive and tricky to handle over time.
