Triumph TR6 - TR-6 Original Issue Tool Set

I've obtained an electronic copy of TRF's VOL II catalog, although it's a bit awkward to use in the current format. Rick Crawford now has it also and we're working to make it available on the cd II. In it is a listing of ALL the issue tools that came with the TR-6 and also a list of optional ones. Anyone have the full set of tools? If there's interest I'll post a listing.

All I got is the strap to hold the tool pouch and a BA hole in my boot that serves no purpose!

My car has the leather strap in the boot. It is secured by a steel plate with two small screws on the left hand side of the spare tire well. It looks like the strap that was used to secure the hood of an old Jaguar, only smaller. My tool bag consists of a jack, a lug wrench and a small pry tool for the trim rings.

I just acquired a 74.5 (CF27006U) that was parked after only 4 years, so it's very original. Its "tool kit" consists of the small blue pouch with lug wrench (non-folding), trim ring pry tool, and a small cad-plated headlight rim removal tool. The strap on the spare tire well floor has never been used.

No need to remove the tyre (other than to check the pressure:). The strap is visible in the lower left (rear) corner.
