Triumph TR6 - tr6 air conditioning

can anyoe tell me ifthee is such thing as air conditioning for tr6 with hardtop. I live in the Deep South USA.

I know that air conditioning was an option, but I don't know if it was dealer installed or factory. Occasionally parts, or complete setups appear on ebay. From the pictures it looks a lot like the same parts as are used on the Stag, though probably with different brackets.

I have also seen some "period" aftermarket type installs, which basically fill an inch or so under the dash with vents - no idea how an adult would be able to fit in the car with those there!

db, what are the chances of getting a copy sent this way as well?

The BL AC kits were pretty decent after market units. Made by Mark IV Products in Fort Worth, I thought that the Mark IV kits were much better than the ARA stuff out of Grand Prairie TX that many dealers used as that kit was about $75 to $100 less than the BL Mark IV kit. Mark IV was eventually bought by Volkswagen and changed names to Volkswagen Products Corporation/VPC. As near as I could tell, they got rid of all the after market stuff (including design drawings) they had done for other manufacturers at that point.
