Triumph TR6 - TR6 WILL STOP WHEN ITS HOT

TR6 IT RUNS WELL AND THAN STOPS.
ENGINE WILL CRANK BUT DOENT START.
WHEN IT COOLS DOWN IT WILL START STRAIGHTWAY.

SOUNDS LIKE CLASSIC VAPOR LOCK, PETER! YOU MAY NEED TO PUT SLEEVE INSULATION AROUND THE LINE WHERE IT'S CLOSE TO THE BLOCK!

Weak fuel pump possibly - membrane getting ready to go.

When it's stopped pull a plug and check for spark.

That will narrow down somewhat. Likely gas but have seen the odd coil or condensor doing funny things. Moisture in the cap?

What about the ignition coil? Sometimes they can overheat, particualrly Lucas coils!
