Triumph TR6 - T.V show
accidently was watching home & leisure channel and came upon a great show on some guy restoring a 65 E type Jag. Not as nice as my TR6 but still quite interesting. Not sure if I got the link exactly right but just search for "a car is reborn" and if you have time take a look. Good tv : ) http://home.discovery.com/schedule/series.jsp?series=85420&gid=10669 |

I love my 6 ,but if anyone EVER ofered me an E type I think I would have to park the 6 in the rain.Sorry Don k. |

I think you can fit about 7 or 8 TR6's into an E-Type. JP |

Your point? Don |

Hi Ian Don't get that here in the great north. To bad. Don: Good thinking. An E or most other Jags will not start or run on a cloudy day never mind sitting out in rain! Use the TR for reliability. Jag like Chrysler makes cute parts not good parts? John: No I don't think so but 4 Es can be fit in a comercial metal recycling bin with 2 Kcars. Nose down. :) If you have a platinum card with no limit. Call any Dr. or Dentist. Most likely have a Jag to sell? "Stored for awhile in immaculate condition" means the S.O.B. left me for the last time on the road and I bought a whatever? Bill |

I meant that at about 10 - 12 grand a pop, you can buy 7 or 8 TR6's for the price of one EType. The Jag and TR6 exist in different universes - I mean, come on, a V12? In a heartbeat I'd give up the six for a Jag XKE. (I'd still own a TR6 though...) JP |

I'll take an early 60's E with the headlight covers and the twin cam 6 over a later E with a 12. |

Bill as usual, your wit shines through in all its glory. (Bill do not read this part) I must admit I would like to have a early jag also..like Don says with the bubbles over the head lights and in BRG. Rick C |
