Triumph TR6 - Vent Lid Operating Lever

I a m looking for a vent operating lever (Moss no 633-220, N/A). It is the lever that allows to open the vent lid on 69-72 models. If anybody has one, i would be interested.

Thanks

Isn't this what you are looking for??

#37 -734-245 $9.95ROD, vent lid, operating TR6 thru 1972

DON KELLY

Don,

No. What I am looking for is on the Moss Dashboard page item no 40.
Marc Girardin

Ok My dash board page doesn't have a #40. Are you talking about the vent on the front cowl behind the bonnet?
Are you looking at a book for the info. If you are, try the website it's more up to date.

DON KELLY

Found it,was looking at Instruments not dash. You need to check on someone with a parting car.I'll check somewhere else for you
DON KELLY

Well I am glad you 2 know what you are talking about.

Rick it the lever you use to open and close the front vent, with the little black knob on it.Passenger side.
DON KELLY

Marc-maybe !!!

"Ah yes... If I didn't have to evacuate a skunk from my shed right now, I'd run out and see if I have one.
I'm accumulating a pretty good list of little bits I need to go look for.
Stupid Skunk!"
DON KELLY

Don,

Don't be afraid of skunk! They don't bite... but as long as you face the skunk there is no danger... the rear end is the problem!!
Marc Girardin

Not my Skunk,someone else's
DON KELLY

Marc this came from a poster on another site.

"Dee En Kay! I have in my hand every part in the above photo. The lever, the pin, the anti-rattle spring, the spring clip ( I think it could be reused) and even the plastic knob with it's set screw.
I even have the little collar with the jamb nut that holds the end of the rod and the nut moves
Now, this unit is off a 66 TR4A. It has a 90 degree bend on the end with the knob. If it's the same between TR4A and TR6 then you're gold.
Send me a PM for the details."

Interested??
DON KELLY

Don, I Think someone found me the part that I need. I am supposed to get it. I'll keep you informed.

Thanks
Marc Girardin

Marc- Let me know so I can pass on the info to the holder.
