Triumph TR6 - Vinyl Restoration

Quite some time ago we got off on the subject of freshening up vinyl dash areas and other vinyl and rubber parts of our cars that take a beating from weather and age.

In that Thread a contributor from the UK (I apologize, I do not have the thread title nor his name) recommended Autoglym Bumper Care. For many months I've kept that name in mind but have not been able to find it here or in the USA. So, I bit down hard and ordered from Rimmer Bros. The cost of shipping was the same as the cost of the product but hey, we only go around once, right.

This stuff is outstanding. It is made in England by Autoglym Letchworth and has the "approval" of the Royals so to speak. You know, those crests are on the bottle that say: By Appointment To Her Majesty The Queen and By Appointment To H.R.H The Prince of Wales. It makes Mothers Back To Black pale by comparison as well as all other products I've tried on rubber and vinyl... a lengthy list. My vinyl dash has never looked better and the rubber window rubbers are a smooth silky black. I had already stripped and refinished the overriders or I would have used this stuff on them. FYI.

Well done JT. I had shopped retail in the US last winter with no luck. On impulse a few weeks ago I bought from Rimmer Bros - no regrets. Me thinks you are going to love this product!
