Triumph TR6 - what is this?

Ok folks

When I started this project some time ago, some bits were off the car in the boot.

So now that Im getting ready to put some bits back on, I came across this bit (see image), its about 15"x 10" x 1.75" deep has an inlet & outlet connection....looks like it fits in a rear panel of the boot...looks like some part of an evaporating system.....so come on guys, tell me its not part of a TR6...if you know what it is let me know.

It's the evap tank for a 70. 71. and early 72's.
Goes behind the passenger side boot cover
Might be worth some coin on the open market

Les,
I have one for my 71, but it has two orifices or hose connection points; one inlet and one out. I only see one in your photograph. Is the other hidden or not there?

Doug, there is two pipes on the bottom left of the picture.

Les - Clean it and paint it and check eBay for past prices .
Bet you could get a nice l'il profit from it
