Triumph TR6 - What is this goose thing all about?

What is this about the goose?
Did I miss the first post? Did I miss the second and third. What are you guys talking about!?
Just tell me where it started from and the rest will fall into place.
Puzzled.
Christopher Trace

Obviously Mr Trace went south with the geese and has just returned home.

Gooseman...enlighten him please.

Goose?

What goose?

Jim Deatsch

If you honk, they will come.
JL Bryan

Dear Puzzled,

The goose is merely a figment of your imagination. There is no goose there is merely a substitue horn.

Perhaps counselling would be of help in this matter?

Sincerely,

Ann Landers (lander, geese land don't they?)
Jim Deatsch

Puzzled,

Go to the 2003 archives under 'Questions from a Newbie' for the origin of the Goose.
Go to 2003 archives under 'Ignition/Start Problems to see how Jim got the Goose.

This sacred stuff ---- 'the birth of the Goose' so read with reverence.

May the Goose be with you!!!!!
Doug Campbell

Jim started it and Charlie fanned the flames (see link)!

As Jim will tel you, our cars don't beep, they honk! I'm wondering if I should replace my dash with one made of Spruce!

Don from Jersey
D Hasara

Horn? Mine never did work for some reason... I always just flip em the bird...or...I mean goose.

JP
John Parfitt

Quick, someone throw something at Don. Spruce, Goose, get it? I'll splain it to the younger members.

JP, THAT'S where my goose went. Flipped out the window. Poor goose.

I expect him back any day now. He wound up going south you know, just too cold here in the frozen tundra. When he returns I'll be sure to let everyone know. This emailing back and forth with him has been tough. His webbed feet just don't do well with the keyboard. I told him to get Dragon Speaking Voice Recognition but they didn't have the Goose Speaking version at Goose USA so he was out of luck.

Goose story: I now have a new appreciation for the term. I was visiting Michele in the little berg of Skanneateles last week when M told me she has 2 Geese outside her office. "Look at the pretty little Geese" says I and approached them to much amusing noise and gestures. When turning around for a photo op, one of the little B!@#ds tried to insert its beak into my nether regions. "Oh well" said Michele once she could stand up, having recovered from her riotous laughter (I have never seen her laugh so much), "Better that than some drunk at the corner of Young and Dundas." Probably why there's no such thing as Goose Tape.
Bryn

He's Baaaaaaaack.

Poor Michele. Such a nice lady to have to take all that abuse. <G>

Jim (and the Goose are waiting for the abuse to commence)
Jim Deatsch

Bryn - Good story. Hence the origin of "getting goosed".
Brent B

D Hassara,
I sent you a canuck goose logo...still a little confused at the whole thing.
Marcello

Marcello,

Did not receive the logo! Please resend. My name only has one 'S' in it - just like goose!
