Triumph TR6 - Whats on your Christmas list?

For all those spouses who never know what to get is, did all ya'll give them a list of things for the cars? Just curious. My list includes a new outside bullet mirror, a new interior rear view mirror, new knobs for the dash, proper decals for a 71 TR6 and some miscellaneous tools I don't have and probably wouldn't buy, like the nifty looking carb synchronizer.

I know you guys have more time to fix things up this time of year, so whats on your lists? (Did I mention our high today will be in the mid 70's and the low last night was around 60?) John

2 Floor pans, outer and inner sills in transit.

Asked Santa for enough money to ship John a Canadian Moose for Christmas. Just as a Thankyou for all the great weather reporting. A little pile of Goose manure in the garage just ain't good enough for that boy....:)

Hear, hear Bill. Good manure it is. Rather like a lump of coal in the old stocking, what?

Oh, wait, let me rephrase that...

Rather like a lump of coal in the old stocking, eh?

My Christmas list has on it:

1 Caribbean cruise with my lovely to WARM places and I'm not talking John's house.

Bill, Goose manure is not on my Christmas list. However, since winter is the time of year we can grow vegetable gardens down here, I would appreciate a big load of your Goose waste in the summer time, so I could till it into my garden and make it fertile in the winter. Did I mention that we're getting tomatoes, green peppers and green beans out of the garden down here right now? Of course, we have to be careful, because most of the tomatoes won't set fruit until it gets down in the low 60's at night, so we can't plant until September or October.

Ahh - The mosquitoes are dead here. How 'bout where you are, John? Was that a can of OFF I saw in your car picture?

We call em "skeeters", Brent, but thats because I was born in, of all places, Memphis. But I don't remember it all and have lived in Florida since I can remember. In coastal Florida, skeeters aren't much of an issue-if you go inland a mile or 2,they are vicious. We pretty much get a light breeze year round.

And Jim, our part of the world is better than the Caribbean, most of the year, except when the snowbirds are down. Actually, St. Thomas is probably one of the nicest places in the world, climate wise. I recommend the western Caribbean cruise--they leave from Puerto Rico and the islands they visit are nicer, cleaner, etc.

I've gotta go--a cold front is moving through and its going to get down into the high 40's tonight. Do you think I need to winterize the car? John.
