MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - 5.0L V8 badge/decal

I am going to upgrade my engine to 5 litre. Does anyone know of any car which had/has a badge/decal on the body which says, 5.0L or 5.0L V8 or similar? It must be stick on, i.e. no holes to drill. The only one I can think of is the Mustang.
Thanks.

mustang 5.0 It will not have the L, but it is stick on and readily available on ebay. Both in chrome and gold trim. I have also seen 5.0 HIGH PERFORMANCE ones.

Thanks Larry.

Pic up a Mustang Mag and you will find lots of venders that sell these badges. You may even find on that will make you an L do go behind the 5.0. Also they have the explorer V8 badge that I think would look good on the back of an MG. Good luck.

Badges? I don't need no 'stinkin' badges!

Jim, badges on your little "hot rod" would be redundant to say the least!

I would loose my "sleeper " image --so the only badge on my Rumble Bee is my car club badge!
Gil Price

I really like the explorer v8 badge. anybody have a part number or know which models/years it was used on?
Michael Hartwig

go for broke, i have a ford v10 badge from my f250, i say put that one on and really make the ricers worried, jim but serious, go on ebay and type in 5.0 emblemns and you'll be amazed at the amount of options you find,

I'm putting the V6 emblem from a cougar right next to the british flag, which is where the front side markers used to be, I think it will retain its sleeper image.

The badge in my B increase my hp and trap times by a bumch! Next I am putting racing stripes, they should be good for another 10 to 15 hp :-)

A trophy shop can make custom badges, now that would be cool David. A unique badge on a unique car.

brh, i used v6 emblems from mitsubishi, the ones they use on the eclipse, in pretty much the same spot you did. joe, my car also got a lot faster with the aerodynamics of the window stickers but i need another gt to really get the full benefit of them. jim
