MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - A ARM POLY BUSHES WANTED

I'm fabricating my transmission mount and need 4 of the poly bushes that are used on the front A arms. I'm looking for a place that sells them individualy, as I don't want to waste money on buying 8 like MOSS or Victoria Bristish sell them. I would also like a set as hard as possible. Any tips?

Scott, check the web for street rod shops or suppliers. There should be poly bushings used for street rod type suspensions which you could use and are usually sold individually. Try Pete and Jakes, or Energy Suspension and see what they have.

scott, you may also be able to go to a marine supply and purchase boat trailer rollers and cut them. there is a particular brand, Stolz, that is a honey color and is high durometer >92<(measurment of hardness). these come in different lengths and have different size holes in the center. overton's is one supplier(overtons.com) you can cut these to your desired thickness. hope this will help if the bushing are difficult to obtain.

Scott, unless I don't understand which bushings you want, Moss is selling them individually. See link:

Uh Wayne, you're right. This is what I'm looking for. I never thought to check their website. Their catalog shows the rubber ones individually, and the poly ones sold as a set of eight from Energy Suspension. Easy enough. Thanks.

Scott:

Look for an update on the Moss Suspension pages in the next catalog. The listings got screwed up over time, but I did a rewrite which will hopefully make a lot more sense.

Moss carries: Softer black Poly bushings individually and harder Nylatron ones. The Prothane are only available as a packaged set. All are listed seperately in the Restoration part of the catalog under the front suspension.

Kelvin.
