MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - A fond farewell

Well ladies and gentlemen, it is finally official. I am leaving the "family". I delivered the blue bomber to her new owner earlier today. He is a former MG owner and based on our conversations I feel very confident he will be able to finish her off where I could not.

I will be dropping in from time to time, but most likely not posting much if at all.

The current plan for the website content is for Curtis to incorporate it into the britishv8 site.

My domain is available if anyone wants to buy it out from me, it is already registered thru Feb of next year.
Larry Embrey

Ha! It'll take about four years and then MG withdrawal will set in. Then like a drug addict in a chemist shop you will helplessly buy the first MG you see! Happened to me twice now. Can't wait to read your rationalization.
Peter

Best wishes to you, Larry!

Hi Larry. Best wishes on the new chapter in your life. Just when I come up for air, you're going under, go figure. At least the Ford count will remain the same, so I guess it evens out. Reminds me of a Seinfeld episode. But then again, everything reminds me of a Seinfeld episode. Not that there's anything wrong with that....
Dale

Larry, I would like to wish you good luck as well. You were primarily the one that inspired me to do my own small block Ford conversion. I know others have done it long before you did, but none of them were so willing to share their information on the internet like you have. Also the fact that you had no prior experience in engine swaps, welding, etc. made me even more confident that I could pull it off as well. I have most of the hard work behind me and look forward to driving my car some time in the future. My life doesn't allow me much time to work on my car either, but I'm not going to let that stop me. I love my car too much to ever let it go!

Best wishes.

Ha, unless you drive a purple MG....

Good luck, Larry. Expect you back in 2 years.

So, who is going to start the pool on when Larry comes back?

Happy trails, Larry. Reading your posts, trials and tribulations has been a real inspiration.

Best,
