MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Anybody going to Auburn, Indiana show?

This will be my 1st time there, and was wondering if any British cars normally there. Any V8'ers?

If you're talking about the Friday night show Downtown,I'll be there.Last year they had about 300 cars.British are few.Mostly vintage and street rods.

Hi Mike,

It will probably be Saturday or Sunday, that I get out there. I would love to see your car! Are you in the show, or just the Friday night events? I'm not really familiar with the show itself; as to whether it's an actual show, or auction, or both; I just heard that there's a LOT of cars there.

We will be taking our V6 car there. At the show in Grand Rapids it was the lightest car there and it was a GT. The little V6 don't weigh very much and has about 190 HP. We got quite a few compliments including a personal call from Ted at Fast Cars. He said he was very impressed with the conversion. See you there.

Steve, I never have been there either. I guess we will both have to wing it.The car is an original blue 1974 model without the over riders. Usually easy to spot because of the attraction it pulls. Sorry, I wish I could help you more. Please introduce your self. Dann

Steve, After I told you I was going I forgot about my commitment at the paint shop. If I get it back in time, I will be in Auburn. If not and you can get to Dayton, Ohio sometime you can see the car and lunch is on me. Dann

The auction runs from Thursday to Monday at the Kruse Auction Park,just south of Auburn city.It is a car show that you can buy anything.The "show" is downtown friday night and a parade Saturday morning.The parade is of Auburns,Cords and Deusenbergs.This is the 50 year aniversary of the ACD club.They said 55 cars are coming.I'm 20 miles up the road.Give me a call when you get there.
