MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Autumn in the Mountains

I am suffering from yet another lapse of memory- it's an Old Fart thing-

At the V8 meet this year one of the guys talked me into driving 550 miles to his local show in Henderson, NC this Oct 13th, and now I have lost his name.

Whoever you are, please drop me a note, as I am coming and want to know who to blame for this insanity.

Jim,

Our V8 fraternity brother, Robert Milks, belongs to the club that hosts that show. In fact, he missed one of our V8 meets one year when he was in charge of the show.

Robert lives in Hendersonville, but the show is in Chimney Rock, NC this year.


Several members from my club always make it a point to make the trip over the mountain for this one. I won't be able to meet you there this year, though. I will be backpacking on the Appalachian Trail with the Boy Scouts.

Evan Amaya's club usually attends this event as well.
