MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Dan Lagrou is a street rodder?

When Street Rodder magazine needed info on the BOP 215 engine, who did they turn to for advice? None other than our own Dan Lagrou! Way to go, Dan!

See page 129 of the December issue.

What took Street Rodder so long. Hot Rod Magazine featured Dan in 1985! For interesting reading, check out the article (courtesy of the Triumph guys) by going to:-

Then click on "Magazine Articles", "Page 7" & "[61] - Hot Rod, March 1985".

Lots of other interesting stuff here too.

There are two types of street rodders, as a general rule: those who use the Chevy 350 (the vast majority) and those who use nothing less than 500ci engines. The 215 BOP rarely appears on their radar screen. Let's hope that more of them start using the BOP/Rover 215, as that will drive the market and make more after market items for it available for our use at reasonable prices. Ala the Chevy 350.

Dan was also featured in the Feb. 2001 Rod and Custom cover story "10 Showstopping Engines". Of course, the #1 engine was the 215 V8.
