Can anyone please help me with the bolt dia and thread type for the engine - bell housing bolts? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Graeme |

Graeme-- what type engine and what type bell housing would be needed to give you further info-- |

Use grade 8 for them AND lockwashers. Size and length will be dependant on the motor. |

I don't know the thread, but on the T5 they're metric bolts that hold the bellhousing on. Justin |

Thankyou everyone for your help. I read my thread again this morning and released that I did not put the engine type - stupid hey!!! I typed the thread late last night and must have been nearly asleep. It is a 97 4.0 Rover. I have just bought the engine for my B and was just bolting it up to an engine stand to work on it. Anyway, I got the size etc that I needed and it all bolted up just waiting for me. Thankyou again. Graeme |

I know it is standard thread in the block to hold the bellhousing on, not sure what the bellhousing threads are though to hold the trans to it. the trans itself will be all metric though.. |
