MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - For Sale Postings
Is there a similar site for posting items for sale ? Like a cross member set up for the 302 and a 8.8" ? PS I really don't want to go to ebay Thanks Steve |

Geeze man, that was pretty sneaky... asking people where you can sell a crossmember already modified for a 302... AND your e-mail address was on the post... You know people are gonna jump all over that! ;-) Justin |

You illinois people are suspect sometimes.... I tried to IM you today, and you never responded. You must have been busy trying to buy that crossmember. ;-) |

Is there alot of need for spare cross members or? I understand that some people need the early or later ones on thier various conversions, but is it that common to change that they should be kept and if so, which ones are worth more? The 1976-1980 or the early ones? I imagine that the early ones would be wroth somthing to the late car owner that want to lower the car (with work to the rack) or the late ones would be worth something to people converting thier early cars to a F.o.r.d. conversion with the need for more room up front down-under. Is this a correct assement or??? -BMC. |

Steve, Have you considered placing an ad in the British V8 Newsletter? Dan has his last issue coming out in January. The website also has a classified section. http://www.britishv8.org/index2.htm |

Jim - No it not the "new" crossmember, it's the stock chrome bumper that has been modified for the 302 conversion. It also has the Ron Hopkins tube shock conversion on it. I won't part with the "new" one !!! Steve |
