Dave, As I happen to have a set of wishbones on my kitchen table (who doesn't) I have just measured them at 320mm. give or take a mm. centre to centre measuring along the arms, If the dimension you require is between the two bolt centres/axises? ie making a right angle triangle with the wishbone, the dimension is approx 300mm.Not sure what the technical terms are but hope you can understand my discription. I also have the top wishbones of my yet unfitted Moss coil over kit so can get that for you but not until the weekend. Out of interest what are you planning to do? Kevin Jackson Sidcup |

Thanks very much Kevin,I am going to make a front coilover suspension the same as the hawk design, but I need to make the arms 25mm shorter for more clearance with the wheels I am using,I have yet to draw it all out to see if it will work ok,thanks again, Dave. |

Dave, Do you still want the upper wishbone dimensions? When I first got my 'B' I was considering fitting Sebring wheelarches, and to avoid using excessively wide wheels and tyres was thinking of extending the wishbones and obviously the steering links so that my 6 x 15 with 195/65x a5 tyres would fill the wheelarches. I was informed that extending the length of the suspension components would probably improve the supension geometry but it may prove that shortening them may have an adverse effect on camber change, and possibly bump steer with the shorter steering arms. I am no engineer, so it would be a good idea to speak to a qualified suspension designer before proceeding too far. What size wheels and tyres are you planning to use? mine fit the arches on my lowered rubber bumper car perfectly. |

Dave top wishbones approx 200mm. from centres to centre or approx 220mm. along the sides of the wishbones. Kevin. |
