MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Intermittent Wiper switch

Some of you have written about having intermittent wiper switches in your V8 conversions, I'd like to add one to my 64 conversion and want to get some info on options and sources. Can anyone help?

I have installed 2 Robertshaw (spelling?) kits & am very happy with them. I bought them from either Pep Boys or Advance Auto, cost around $20.00

And I always thought that the first position on the MGB wiper switch WAS intermittant.

The MGOC sell a gadget called Smartscreen. This is a little box of electronic wizardry that mounts up behind the dash out of sight (it's not much bigger than a big matchbox). It allows variable frequency intermittent wipe controlled through the ordinary switch. So there are no extra switches to install. Seems dead brilliant to me.

I've got Smartscreen.......it's excellent.......easy to use.....and infinitely variable.
