If you find a very early (1980s ?) copy of petersons engine conversions there is the story of a guy who fitted the rover engine and jag rear end into a MGB. If you cant find it email me and i think I have it scanned in somewhere. Gives a few details and pictures. regards mark |

Yes! Nick Samallwood in the UK has converted the suspension of a B GT to Jaguar front and rear, an excellent conversion. I lost his web page; maybe someone can help with the web page address. BTW, Great web page. |

Are you guys talking about Jag Mk II components by chance? If so, I have a '62 I'd be more than happy to sell to whoever can come up to Northern Illinois. Even if nobody wants to but it I'm still curious. happy V-8ing, Wade |

Buy it, not but it. |

Greg, your right it was the original Buick version of the Rover V8. As for the jag Mk II, I have fitted the rear discs assembly onto my MGA rear end. In fact the Jag Dunlop parts are in the main the same as those used in the MGA TwinCam so it is a fairly straight forward fit/swap (even the caliper mounting bracket bolts right up). regards mark |

Mark thanks for the update ,does the jag brakles fit on the MGB or is it a diffirnt pattern then the MGA?I've just fouund a local source for jag parts what year is needed?look forward to your reply.....Greg |

The main problem you have is you need to run 15 inch rims to clear the calliper. Otherwise early series MGB rears should work fine. I will be fittinga set to my 67 MGB when I get around to doing it up as well. regards mark |
